Metal-Tack Fastening System
We are delighted to report that yet another major UK valve manufacturer (member of www.bvaa.org.uk) now uses the Amtak/Metal-Tack range of self-piercing blind fasteners. Like many others worldwide they have dispensed with dodgy drilling and sticky adhesives. One single impact using Amtak Air Hammer forces the specially hardened pins direct into base casting.

Fastening Cable ties
Metal Tacks are being used more and more to fix cable ties onto metal without drilling any holes.
One of the most impressive recent uses is that by Terex Pegson to fit cables on some of the world`s largest rock crushers.
Over 300 metres of cabling are fixed to the bodies of these giants.
Tack Mounts from Network Fasteners solved fixing problems for the production engineers.
Tack Mounts are Metal Tacks fitted into special Panduit cable mounts and these allow cabling to be fitted on metal surfaces without the need to drill holes in areas which are sometimes difficult to access.

FAST Exhibition
The National Motorcycle Museum near Coventry - www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co.uk. - was host to The Fastening & Assembly Solutions Exhibition at the end of October. You can read a complete review in FAST Magazine - www.fastmagazine.co.uk
Network Fasteners was of course present showing not only the renowned Amtak Fastening equipment for Metal Tacks - the famous self piercing blind rivets that need no hole to be drilled to fix them - but also the Amtak Marking equipment used with the same air Amtak air tool.
Network Fasteners hss developed activities since moving to new premises in South Wales and will be adding to the Network range by presenting more innovative tools in the future.
